Jennifer is new to the real estate profession, but she has already demonstrated that she brings the enthusiasm and excitement that are hallmarks of successful new agents. She represents the mix of having a love of Murray, deep roots in both our community and Marshall County, and a background of owning her own business that motivates her to excel in her newly chosen career.
“I am excited to be off to a new experience in the real estate world and being a part of the Kopperud Realty team. This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and finally the time was right for me to enter this new field. My family and I have always been interested in properties, which in turn are opportunities. This seemed to be a natural progression for me to become a Realtor,” she said. She has proven her commitment to her new career by attending detailed training sessions weekly since joining Kopperud Realty and working to complete her post-licensing education requirements. Her first listing sold quickly, and her first sale of a home resulted in very satisfied clients.
Jennifer has served as a cheer coach for 20 years and together with her daughter, she owns Murray Elite, a competitive cheer business. “I often say the best part about coaching is the young people and their families that we get to know. The same can be said about real estate.”
Jennifer has also invested her time in the community and youth of Murray. She has been Chairperson of The Den Youth Services Council at Murray High School for 16 years. She has served on the Board of Directors for New Pathways for Children. She and her husband have also been active foster care parents during this time. Coupled with her coaching, this service to youth in our community “has definitely helped me as far as knowing people, listening to their needs and finding ways to help.”
Jennifer and husband, David, are the owners of David Taylor Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram FIAT in Murray and surrounding communities. They have raised six children and have eight grandchildren and 5 dogs. Jennifer reports that there is never a dull moment at the Taylor household!
